Indian Dinner 印度晚餐

HOME-MADE CHAPATI



This is my first time to make chapati. I can't believe that how easy to make it. Try it out!

Ingredients:
Whole Wheat Flour 200g
Warm Water 100-150ml
Vegetable Oil 1 tbsp
Salt a pinch

1) Mix the ingredients together, then knead it until the dough is soft and glossy.
2) Cover it by damp cloth and let it stand in the room temperature for 30mins.
3) Roll the dough out in oval shape. Place on the hot frying pan to cook.
4) Until you can see the brown spots on the chapati, served hot.


CHICKEN MARSALA



This chicken marsala is created by Yves. But still can feel the indian taste.

Ingredient:
Chicken pieces 500g
Plain Yoghurt 200g
Salt 1 tbsp

Garlic 2 cloves (chopped)
Ginger 1 piece (chopped)
Onion 2 small
Cardamon 6 pieces
Ground Fennel 1 tsp
Ground Coriander 1 tbsp
Turmeric 1 tbsp
Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
Dried Tomatoes 4 pieces (Soak into warm water for 20mins)
Canned Tomatoes 6 pieces
Dried Chilli 4 pieces
Garam Marsala 1 tbsp
Water 250ml
Oil 100ml

Method:
1) Marinated the chicken with yoghurt and salt. Stay overnight in the fridge.
2) Deseed the cardamon, fry it in the saucepan with oil. Then add garlic & ginger.
3) After the aroma comes out, add chopped onion, cooked until golden & soft. (at least 15 mins)
4) Add all the dried seasonings (except Garam Marsala) into the onion, stir well. Then add the chicken into it, add water to cook for 30-45 mins.
5) When it is about to finish, stir in the Garam Marsala. Done.

昨晚都好想整你個印度餐,但家裡除了做薄餅的材料,什麼也沒有,(因為昨天偷懶)所以惟有放棄.

但我買唔到全麥面粉...
請問可唔可以用高根面粉代替呀???

這個薄餅可用普通麪粉(百佳, 惠康果種plain flour), 其實全麥面粉是百佳都有, 放在jelly powder附近的organic product). 希望幫到您. 記得請我食wor. :)
