Banana & Lemongrass Coconut Milk Sago 泰式"真香"西米露
Lemongrass can help digestion. This can help to reduce the richness of coconut milk.
Ingredients:
Sago 40g
Coconut Milk 400ml
Lemongrass 2 stalks
Banana 2 pieces
Sugar 3 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
1) Boil the water, then add sago. Turn off the heat and cover the lid. Let the sago cooked by the heat inside the saucepan.
2) Drain the sago into cold water.
3) Heat the coconut milk, add the lemongrass & banana. Cook until banana soften.
4) About to finish, add sugar & salt.
5) Pour into the bowl with sago. Add ice to cool down.
YvesTips:
1) If you add many ice for serving, you may consider to add some more sugar.
2) Prepare lemongrass, wash it, then wrapped it by a clean towel cloth. Use the rolling pin to crash the lemongrass.
